DallasDalfen America Corp. announced the acquisition of McKinney Central Business Park located in the DFW suburb of McKinney, Texas. The seller and financial details of the deal remained undisclosed.

The transaction marks the first acquisition of Dalfen’s Core + Industrial Fund, Ashrei III.

The multi-tenant, industrial business park located at 2010 and 2040 N Redbud Blvd. was built in 2001. The 201,425-square foot complex comprises two light industrial buildings occupied by notable tenants such as PODS Enterprises and Dallas Morning News. Along with the buildings, DAC purchased a 6.5-acre parcel of land for future development purposes.

“These are high-quality properties located in a fast growing market with excellent demographics and significant barriers to entry” Sean Dalfen, president & CIO of DAC, said in prepared remarks. “This month alone, including McKinney Business Park, we will have closed on 26 buildings totaling in excess of $130 million. We intend to continue to be one of the most active buyers of industrial real estate in the country and aim to ramp up our acquisitions substantially over the next twenty four months.”
